DC interacts with general public through e-Rubroo on face book at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: To listen the issues and demands being faced by the general public of District Udhampur, Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib today interacted with general public through e-RUBROO on face book and listened live public grievances here at her Office Chamber.
During the half hour live interactive programme, the DC took firsthand appraisal of their issues and grievances. The people of the District hailed the unique initiative of the DC to listen the people’s problems through e-Rubroo on face book.
The People from across the District shared their issues and problems which include retrieval of government land from Vishal mega mart to Hotel Dolphin, Installation of CCTV camera in wards, Black topping of internal roads, Shifting of Slathia Chowk metador stand to other place to avoid traffic jam near DC office, augmentation of drinking water in rural areas, shortage of staff in health and education department, renovation of Udhampur to Chenani road, eviction of encroachment at Jaganoo Morh near Pilot high school, Wastage of pond water at Cherry Swail, adequate safai karamcharais in each ward, replacement of transformer at Parwa Jagir, Cleanliness of Devika water, improvement of Mantalai to Latti road. Repair of Jakhani to Chenani road via Sewna, Maintenance of Battal Mansar road, Double Lanning of Dhar road, Installation of traffic lights at each chowk in Udhampur city, check on roadside Garbage dumping, menace of stray cattle in Udhampur city, bringing Pingla Mata. Chountra Mata, Ramnagar Shiv temple on tourism map, requirement of over head bridge at Battal Ballian, Traffic Congestion, Parking facility etc. A total of 43000 viewers on facebook responded to this innovative initiative of DC Udhampur especially in view of COVID.
The Deputy Commissioner responded to all the issues and demands raised by the locals and assured their timely resolution.
