| DC Kishtwar inaugurates Digital X-Ray machine at District Hospital | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Apr 3: Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma today inaugurated the Computerised Radiography system and 300 MA, Digital X -Ray Machine here at the district hospital. He was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer, Dr R S Manhas, Medical superintendent District Hospital, Dr Parveez Iqbal Wani, Senior Surgeon Dr Ravinder Singh, Radiologist DH Sham Lal besides other officials.
The DC Kishtwar was informed by the Medical superintendent that the system has been sanctioned under the World Bank project with aims to augment the radiology section of the hospital besides systems offering in-house, high-quality digital imaging to fit workflow. Meanwhile, the DC Kishtwar also inspected the various sections of the hospital and took first hand appraisal of the functioning of these sections. He asked the MS District Hospital to project the requirement of infrastructure so that it could be highlighted in the next budget. The DC Kishtwar further directed MS District Kishtwar to complete the partition work in the various sections and also to maintain the proper sanitation of all the sections. Meanwhile he also went round the district hospital and inspected the pace of work at Additional 100 bedded IPD block and opthalomogical block. He directed the DGM JKPCC to expedite the pace of construction work for timely completion of these projects. The CMO Kishtwar was asked to conduct the random sampling of the school children at various schools within the town so as to keep a track on the spreading infection for the safety of the students. |
