JAMMU, Apr 3: A national webinar series on Mathematical analysis was organized by the Department of Mathematics, Govt. Degree College, R.S Pura in collaboration with Department of Applied Mathematics, BGSBU Rajouri. In his inaugural address Principal of the college Dr. G.S. Rakwal welcomed all the participants and resource person. He stressed upon the students to understand the basics of mathematics and motivated them to attend such kind of academic activities in future too. Prof. V.Srinivas HOD, Department of Mathematics Hyderabad delivered a technical talk on analysis and its applications. Ram Singh, Department of Applied Mathematics, BGSBU, Rajori presented a talk on applications of differential equations. He awared the participants for various methods to be used for research regarding COVID-19 and uses of differential in different streams like Engineering, Economics, Computer Sciences, Bio Sciences etc. Dr. Ajay Sharma (HOD), Department of Mathematics central University of Jammu, spoke on the role of Mathematics in the development of science and technology. Dr. Rajesh Sharma (Co-coordinator) of the webinar Series presented vote of thanks to all the participants and the resource person. Prof. Neha Jain and Prof. Amit Singh, technical coordinators provided the technical support throughout webinar series.
