Udhampur Civil Society appreciates initiatives of District administration

UDHAMPUR, Apr 4: Udhampur Civil Society has appreciated the move of newly posted Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib who has taken several initiatives after her joining here for the welfare of common masses and has assured full support to her in this regard .
Civil Society held a meeting here under presidentship of Ranjit Parihar in which people from different walks of society participated . Speaking in the meeting parihar hailed the several new initiatives taken by administration for the betterment of common masses by making mass contact on ground level which is being appreciated by every section of society and people are feeling presence of administrative governess on ground. Society members hail the move of administration campaign under Catch the rain programme to solve water scarcity problem. Members also appreciated E-Rubroo programme of administration on Facebook as through this initiative people first time get platform to highlight their day to day issues and demands. They added that it should be implemented in every department so that people could address their issues through digital mode with concerned departments keeping in view prevailing covid restrictions.
Members said that anti-encroachment drive started by administration to De -congest City should be continued and it should not succumb to any political pressure like early drives . Civil Society also appeal DC to complete Devika project be undertaken under national river conservation plan in stipulated time frame work as per blue print .
Others present meeting were Parvesh Kumar , Pardeep Bakshi , Aman Sharma , Rohit Kumar, Govind Ram , Pankaj Sharma , Raj Kumar , Mahadeep Singh ,Anil Paba , Anil Dubey , Raksha Slathia ,Aman Sharma , Sarita Parihar and others.
