JAMMU, Apr 4: While speaking in day long programmes organized by Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra (HRAK) and Federation of Hotels, Restaurants, Industry & Commerce of Jammu Region (FHRICJR) including meeting with stake holders at Patnitop, Visit of Skview by Empyrean Rope way at Patnitop, visit of hotels of Patnitop,& visit to Udhampur Sports Stadium etc. of Principal Secretary Industries & Commerce J&K Thakur Ranjan Parkash,Principal Secretary Youth Services & Sports and Science & Technology Alok Kumar, General Manager SIDBI Chandigarh Rahul Priyadarshi at Patnitop and Udhampur wherein representatives of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu Region Chapter,Hotelier bodies of Patnitop,Udhampur & Bhaderwah were also present Thakur Ranjan Parkash said New Central Sector Scheme for Industrial Development Scheme of Jammu & Kashmir will open the gates of business activity in J&K and would open the gates of business & employment in J&K. He said that this is unique scheme and the scheme of this type is hardly given to any part of country and feel like never will come again and people should take its benefit. Others present on the occasion were Rakesh Wazir President HRAK & FHRICJR, Koushal Magotra President Patnitop area of FHRICJR,Virender Kesar Sr.Vice President HRAK & Convenor PHDCCI Reasi District, Vikram Singh Salathia President Hotel & Restaurant Association, Udhampur and President FHRICJR Udhampur area,Gen.Secretary Sanjeev Sharma,Ajay Kotwal Vice President HRAK & Gen .Secretary FHRICJR Bhaderwah area,Retd.Principal Session Judge Hari Om ,Ali Jafferi of Skyview Ropeway, Shammi Badyal GM,Green top,mr.Katoch etc.
Alok Kumar besides visiting Stadium of Udhampur asked the people that new techniques in the business and particulary in information science and technology be adopted and the future is of technology and whosoever will lag behind in that will be major loser in the game of business or in other fileds.
Rahul Priyadarshi while speaking on the occasion elaborated the finance schemes of SIDBI and as requested by HRAK said that recommendation with regard to expansion of the scheme through which entrepreneurs are getting loan @5% to service sector also be made so that service sector may also get benefitted by that.
Rakesh Wazir while speaking on the occasion said that since Hotels,Resorts are being covered by Industries and are registered as well by Industries Department now and thus the process of dual registration should be stopped and Hotels should be registered with Industries department only and particularly for availing incentives under various Central & Union Territory Schemes.
Koushal Magotra while speaking on the occasion raised the issues of bad condition of road between Udhampur to Patnitop and especially the under construction portion of highway,scarcity of water at Patnitop,Stoppage of Oil tankers at Patnitop and suggested for their stoppage after Patnitop towards Batote side.He also asked for early completion of direct road between Patnitop to Sudh Mahadev Mantalai.
