DC Kishtwar inspects progress of RDD works in Thakrie, Mughalmidan

KISHTWAR, Apr 5: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma today conducted tour of Block Thakrie and Mughalmaidan and inspected the progress on various ongoing developmental works there being executed by Rural Development Department.
He was accompanied by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chatroo, Inderjeet Parihar; BDO Mughalmaidan Arun Badyal; BDO Thakrie/ Kishtwar Sheetal Sharma; DGM JKPCC, Raman Sawhney besides other concerned officer/officials.
During the field visit in CD Panchayat Darbadan Thakrie, he inspected rural connectivity work including construction of bridge over Nusil Nala under CD Panchayat and protection work at Government Middle School, Darbadan under 14th FC.
He instructed BDO Thakrie to speed up the pace of work in the areas of their respective jurisdictions for timely completion of the developmental projects.
He also inspected renovation work of steel bridge in Panchayat Rahathal connecting GHSS Mughal Maidan.
The BDO Mughalmaidan informed that the said bridge is being renovated at an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 Lakh under head Capex to connect Horna, Drubeel.
Rahathal, Loidhar and other habitations.
On the spot instructions were issued to BDO Mughalmaidan to prepare estimate of the bridge connecting Eid Gah, Rhathal within three days and project the same in appropriate head to start the work at an earliest.
He also conducted surprise inspection of Government Middle School Boys Dharbadan, Thakraie and took stock of the facilities in the school. He checked the attendance register and arrival register.
He asked the employees and teachers to remain punctual as any laxity and negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
