Follow footsteps of Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya, SP Mukherjee : Kavinder
4/6/2021 11:14:23 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 6: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta has asked the party cadre to toe the line of stalwart leaders like Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee for making BJP more stronger and vibrant force to reckon with.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion of party’s Foundation Day here on Tuesday, the senior BJP leader said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay has given a new dimension to Indian politics by never compromising on his ideology.
“Pt Deendayal was a person of insightful aptitude and strict discipline, who strongly believed that unless the person standing last in the country as far as his social standing is concerned, can acquire the top most chair one cannot say that the democracy has sprouted fully in the country”, Kavinder said adding that BJP through its strong credentials has proved today that democracy has fully flourished in India when it gave chance to Narendra Modi, a leader from a humble background to sit on the highest chair of the country.
Terming the BJP ideologue Shyama Prasad Mukherjee as one of the tallest leaders of his time, Kavinder maintained that he sacrificed his life for full integration of J&K with the rest of the country, the mission which was finally realised by the BJP under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2019.
“SP Mukherjee also never compromised on principles. He questioned the provision of separate symbols in the erstwhile J&K State, which BJP has now annulled proving it to be the only nationalist party in the country which is also the largest political party in the entire world,” he averred adding that the life of Mukherjee and Upadhyaya acts as the source of inspiration for the coming generations asking each one of us to place the interests of the country at the top as there is no other priority above the motherland. He asked the party cadre to create connect with the masses to strengthen party at grassroots level.
