Our freelance attitude responsible for covid surge
4/8/2021 12:36:35 AM

Shyam sudan

As we know that the second wave of covid infection is increasing day by day.Now the rate and pace of its spread is very horrific as compared to its early infection. Earlier we had adopted every possible measure to control this infection.Earlier people were more cautious for this viral infection. Our precautionary measure like janta curfew, lockdown, use of sanitizers, physical distancing and hand washing had played its unique and significant role in mitigating this viral infection. But gradually we have forgotten all these precautionary measure due to our casual approach towards this pandemic. It had a very antagonistic impact on our life. Now again we fallen in the grip of this viral infection. In few states the rate of infection is very horrific as compared to other states. We had a great chance when we could hit this pandemic strongly. But we lost that chance due to our non serious behaviour.
At one side we are running the biggest immunisation programme against this viral infection on the other side we are fighting with this global problem with our half hearted approach. No doubt the efficacy of our vaccine is very high but we can’t ignore the precautionary measures. Precautionary measure are very mandatory to check any kind of viral infection in human body. Only with proper precautionary measures and strong immune system we can fight with any infection in the body. If this viral infection continues to spread in this way,we can’t give better treatment to every one. Because our health system is not advance like developed nations of the world.
There is scarcity of health experts and different equipments. Moreover the capacity of our hospitals is also very limited. In our nation where there is large number of population, it is very difficult to give all the life saving facilities on emergency situation. As we know for this viral infection there is need of ventilators and isolated wards in every hospital. Our hospitals are already full of people suffering from other diseases. We can’t put covid infected persons with other patients in these health centres. If the corona expands again we will have to suffer further losses. Because now we are in not in a position to impose lockdown again. As we know that due to such like lockdowns and curfew like situation we have lost great things in every walk of life. Our economy is already facing the problem of recession and slowdown due to such lockdown like situation.
We have not yet properly recovered from those conditions. The pandemic had a profound impact on children’s education as well.
From many months our education institutions were closed due to this devastation. If education institutions have to be closed again,it would be difficult to compensate for this loss.we had lost so many precious life of humans due to this covid pandemic. We don’t want to lose more people. There is need of collaborative efforts from all to cooperate with government to control this infection. Because every man is the carrier of this infection. We can’t fight with this infection with the alertness of a single person or organisation. We had earlier shown that,if we fight together, we can overcome from this infection. Once again a dedicated and committed spirit is needed to fight against this pandemic.
