| Paragliding trail successfully conducted at Panchai Thatri | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 20: Taking a further step to make the District Doda a hub of adventure sports, the district administration Doda under the able guidance of DDC Doda Vikas Sharma and under the supervision of SDM Thathri Athar Amin Zargar conducted the successful paragliding trail at Panchai area of sub division Thathri here today.
As per the details available with Early Times, it has been given out that district administration is continuously making efforts to promote the adventure activities in the district so that the district shall attract the tourists all over the country as well as from outside the country.
The locals of the area extended gratitude to the district administration for taking this step and for making persistence efforts to push the adventure activities in the district. Speaking to Early Times, SDM Thatri Athar Amin Zargar said that the successful trail run of Paragliding in the area could explore the avenues for tourism activities in the area added that Thatri area has lot of adventure tourism potential.
He said that in the last month the maiden successful white water rafting festival was also organised in the same area in which huge participation was witnessed from all walks of the life. He said that the administration is planing mega tourism event in the area once the situation following COVID 19 becomes better. |
