| Decomposed body of ex-MLC TS Wazir found in Delhi flat, probe on | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 9:
Senior National Conference leader and ex-MLC Trilochan Singh Wazir, was found dead under mysterious circumstances this morning in a flat in West Delhi.
Wazir's body was found in a decomposed state in an apartment in Moti Nagar area of West Delhi, the police sources said.
The 67-year-old politician, a former MLC of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, was also Chairman of J&K Transporters' Welfare Forum.
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed shock at the death of his party colleague on Twitter.
"Shocked by the terrible news of the sudden death of my colleague Sardar TS Wazir, ex-member of the Legislative Council. It was only a few days ago that we sat together in Jammu not realising it was the last time I would be meeting him. May his soul rest in peace," Omar Abdullah tweeted.
Police have initiated an investigation into the reasons behind Wazir's death, said sources.
