DDC chairperson conducts onspot inspection of developmental works in Thathi, Dhanu areas

UDHAMPUR, Oct 1: To take stock of the ongoing developmental works being executed in different sectors of the District, District Development Council Chairman, Udhampur Lal Chand conducted an extensive visit of Thathi, Dhanu area and conducted the spot inspection.
The DDC Chairman also visited to Dudar Nallah Bridge site to get feedback about the status of the bridge from Xen PMGSY.
The Chairman was informed that the first installment of bridge material has been received and the work will be started soon.
Inspecting work on Dudar Nallah Bridge, the PMGSY was directed to expedite the pace to provide early benefit to the general public.
En-route, the DDC Chairman also inaugurated the work of blacktopping of Sonari via Sajalta road. He also interacted with the public and listened to their issues and demands.
After inaugurating the blacktopping work, the Chairman informed the public that road connectivity is the prerequisite for the overall development and it is the first priority of the government.
BDC Chairman, Udhampur Balwan Singh; DDC Member, Tikri Ashu Sharma; besides Sarpanches Shashi Paul, Rakesh Kumar, Darshana Devi and Panches accompanied the DDC Chairman.
