Various Sikh organizations condemn Dr Khalsa’s killing in Pakistan

JAMMU, Oct 2: An emergency meeting of Various Sikh Organizations J&K held under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh, Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and ex-member District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Jammu. An amalgam of various Sikh Organizations of J&K in a joint statement condemned the killing of Dr Satnam Singh Khalsa in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar by unknown gunmen on Thursday. Dr Satnam Singh Khalsa of forty five years age was a Unani Physician running a clinic for last twenty years. This killing for which the ISIS an Islamic State or ISIS- K an affiliate of Islamic State Afghanistan claimed responsibility created a panic among the minorities and they are feeling unsafe there. The Jammu Kashmir Sikh Organizations appeal to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to personally intervene with Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to ensure the security of minorities in Pakistan so that they may not fall victim to hate mongers while the protection be provided to the religious places in Pakistan as we fear the targeted killing of Sikh community. The five hundred to six hundred families are living in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who are feeling insecure and needs an immediate assistance for their protection. It is also appealed to the government of India to pressurize the Pakistan Government for immediate arrest of murderers.
