Civil Defence awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at Nagrota

JAMMU, Nov 27: A Civil Defence (CD) awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at Anganwari Social Welfare Center Jagti Nagrota, Jammu. The programme was organized under the supervision of Dy SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness programme, 50 Anganwari Workers, helpers and local ladies participated. The programme was coordinated by Minakshi Kotwal, Supervisor Centre Social Welfare, Jagti Nagrota, Jammu. Awareness about First Aid, CPR, choking, fire fighting, and other emergency rescue methods and other basic life saving techniques were given by the Civil Defence experts. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics was also presented by the Civil Defence team. During the awareness programme SOPs as well as guidelines issued by the government regarding COVID-19 were properly followed.
Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu Dy SP Anita Pawar delivered a valuable lecture on the topic of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. Chief Warden CD Jammu Paramjeet Kumar also delivered a lecture.
Besides others, R Vijay Magotra, Dy Chief Warden CD Jammu, Shabana Choudhary, Supervisor Anganwari Centre, Sub Inspector Ram Dayal Saini, I/C Trainings Civil Defence Jammu were also present during the awareness camp.
