| Ayushman Health Card loses relevance as outsiders denied benefits in J&K | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 21: The Ayushman Bharat health card was launched by the ministry of health with the objective that this would entail the benefits to the people at any health centre in any part of country however in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir different parameters are applied.
People belonging to the different parts of the country discharging different jobs in Jammu are denied the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat card. The health institutions in the private sector in Jammu are denying surgeries to the patients saying that they cannot give benefits to them as they live outside Jammu & Kashmir.
The people especially the poor masses have urged LG Manoj Sinha to personally intervene in the matter so that they avail the benefits of Ayushman health card in Jammu & Kashmir. These people said that since they are poor they cannot huge bills of the hospitals and medicines in both the public and private sectors. |
