Grenade blast near police post in Gool, JKGF claims responsibility: ADGP Jammu Zone

Jammu, Aug 2: A grenade blast took place near Police Post Ind on Tuesday morning in Gool sub division of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Additional Director General of Police Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh in a message said that a grenade blast has occurred near the premises of police post Ind which falls in the jurisdiction of Police Station Gool.
"A letter has also been found claiming it to be done by Jammu Kashmir Gaznavi Force," he said. The teams of Special Operation Group and army have been mobilzed for cordon and search operation.
A case has been registered and investigation in progress, said the top cop. Earlier, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Mohita Sharma said that no injuries were reported in the incident. However, security has been heightened in the area.
