| Online Orientation Programme conducted at SCERT | | | Jammu, Aug 4: One day Online Orientation Programme on “Mapping of indigenous toys/games/art/puppetry/songs/stories etc.” was conducted today on 4th of August 2022 at JKSCERT, Divisional office, Jammu. The orientation programme was organized by the Department of Art Education and Vocational Education under the overall supervision of H. R. Pakhroo, Joint Director SCERT(J&K), Divisional office, Jammu. The orientation programme was formally inaugurated by worthy Joint Director H. R. Pakhroo. The first session was taken by Ms. Jaswinder Kour Coordinator-DRC for Pre-Primary Education Jammu followed by second session by Dr. Jyotsna Tiwari Prof. Department of Education Art and Aesthetics, NCERT, Delhi.
The Programme focused on creating awareness among the Educators to realize the importance and role of indigenous toys to make teaching learning process joyful, fun loving and experiential, also acting as tool of culturization, developing 21st century skills among the children.
The sessions were followed by interaction programme among the participants and the resource persons. The Programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Sh. Kishore Kumar Associate Prof. & Head of Department of Art Education and Vocational Education SCERT(J&K), Jammu.
The programme was conducted successfully by the team comprising Mr. Yogesh Kumar- Co-ordinator, Pooja Sharma –Associate Co-ordinator ; Dr. Sabeta Kohli Assistant Co-ordinator and Pratibha Jamwal Technical Coordinator under the convenorship of Associate Profs Sh. Kishore Kumar & Sh. Romi Kumar and facilitated by Assistant Prof. Ms.Irvinder Kour in close co-ordination with Academic officers :Arun Dutta, Sabah Rasheed, Ashok Kumar & Anil Sharma. |
