| DSP among 8 police officers transferred | | |

JAMMU, May 3: The police headquarters today ordered the transfers and postings of eight police officers, including a deputy superintendent of police (DSP).
DSP Girdhari Lal was posted as DSP, Nowshehra. Trikuta Nagar police station SHO, Inspector Vijay Choudhary is transferred to government railway police (GRP). Inspector Abid Rafiqi replaces Vijay as SHO of Trikuta Nagar police station. Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia replaces DSP (probationer) Riyaz Tantray as SHO of Miran Sahib police station. Tantray is attached to district police lines (DPL). Kanhachak police station SHO, Sub-Inspector (SI) Jaipal Sharma is transferred to GRP. SI Bindeshwar Singh is new SHO of Kanhachak police station.
DSP (probationer) Rajpal Singh, who held the post of city police station SHO, is attached to DPL. Inspector Narinder Singh replaces him as the SHO of city police station.
SI Kulbeer Chand is posted as Gadhgarh police post incharge. SI Irfan is transferred from Satwari police station to RS Pura police station.
