JWAM met CS, put forth demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU NOV 17: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) deputation met the Chief Secretary S S Kapoor and raised many problem being faced by them. Led by JWAM president Sunil Dimple, deputation appraised the government of the problem faced by the people of winter capital, as ‘no development’ is taking place in the Jammu city and particularly in the Jammu west constituency. A deputation demanded construction work of flyover immediately at Rehari Chungi, Jewel Chowk and Vikram Chowk to solve the worst traffic problems, as the people of Jammu city are facing grave situation. It further demanded to install traffic signal lights in the city, ban the pressure horns and over loading. It also demanded for the construction of four way circular roads from Amphalla Manda to Janipur High Court upto Roop Nagar, Bantalab and from Jewel Chowk to Bhagwati Nagar upto Talab Tillo to easy traffic rush on the New Plot Janipur High Court, Bantalab road, the project is already lining with the PWD department for approval and allocation of funds. The deputation demanded the chief secretary for fresh electrification of wiring HT, LT in Jammu city and the replacement of defunct Transformers to stop curtailments of electricity. The delegation also met the Inspector General of police, Jammu range, Ashok Gupta and apprised of the problem. The chief secretary S S Kapoor assured for the early redressal of the demands
