| Fire on LoC in Balakote sector | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 14: A major fire erupted on the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch today.
The fire, which started from the Pak side in the afternoon, had spread over 1.5 km inside the Indian territory, police sources said.Sources said dozens of blasts were heard after the flames engulfed
the forested stretches on this side of the LoC.
These blasts were caused by the landmines spread by army in the border areas to check infiltration, the sources added.Efforts were being made by army and civil administration to control the flames.
