JAMMU, July 17 : Arms and ammunition were today recovered by security forces from a hollow rock in the dense Copra Top forests of Mahore in Reasi.
Official sources said acting on intelligence inputs, jawans of Uniform Force and police searched out a polythene bag hidden by militants in a hollow rock in Copra Top forests. The bag contained two AK rifles alongwith two magazines and 120 rounds, two Kenwood radio sets, two bayonets and two Chinese grenades, the sources added. Sources said the recovery had thwarted the militant plans to cause violence in the area. |
