Mumbai police in Poonch to get details of Mendhar person | | | Amit Sharma Rajouri: In a major development, the preliminary investigations into the Mumbai serial blasts that rocked the metropolis on July 13 at three different locations have pointed towards a connection with border district of Poonch. A Mumbai police team has reportedly been deputed to ascertain and cross check the credentials of a Mendhar resident who has been arrested for having alleged links with serial blasts. Mumbai Police has also approached Intelligence authorities in Rajouri for verifying the character of a teacher in a local private school. Sources said that Mumbai police investigating serial blasts have reportedly deputed team of officials to Mendhar area where they have been assigned the task to know about the character of one Sajlil Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Sanjyote village, who according to sources is in the custody of Mumbai Police and was arrested after recent serial blasts. Sources said that police had recovered some fake certificates from him which has deepened the investigation and forced Mumbai police to depute their officials to Poonch. As per sources, Mumbai police has also reportedly approached Intelligence agencies at Rajouri for getting information about a Private school in Muradpur area of Rajouri. Sources said that police wanted to clear from the intelligences about the activity of the arrested person in this private school as the agencies have came to know that the person had served in this school for 5 years. |
