| Newborn male baby found live in field at Mendhar | | | Jammu: An abandoned newborn male baby was last evening found live in a field at Gulhata near Gursai in Mendhar, Poonch.
The baby was found live in a field adjacent to a temple at Gulhata Tuesday evening, police sources said.
Soon after the matter came to their notice, cops reached the spot and evacuated the baby to sub-district hospital, Mendhar. It was healthy and in good condition, the sources added.
Quoting doctors, sources said the baby was only 10 to 12 hours old. A case in this connection was registered at Gursai police station. |
