Srinagar, Nov 24: Kashmir-based political parties have shifted their focus from addressing the immediate concerns of the common man to engaging in a power play, each claiming to be the sole viable option for the people. An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “ A different kind of battle is unfolding in Kashmir, one that is less about the everyday struggles of the people and more about political supremacy. JAMMU, Nov 24: Pakistan is making attempts to push foreign terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir, Northern Army commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi said on Friday, and highlighted that there is a presence of retired soldiers of that country in militant ranks. Agencies New Delhi, Nov 24: The Government will assist citizens in filing FIR against social media platforms for violation of IT rules in case they are aggrieved from objectionable content like deep fakes. Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar said the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) will develop a platform on which users can notify about IT rule violation by social media platforms. “Meity will assist users to very easily notify it about violation of IT rules and assist them in filing FIRs,” the minister said. Srinagar, Nov 24: The mercury rose above freezing point at most places in Kashmir last night as residents got respite from cold and fog, officials said on Friday. Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of 0.9 degrees Celsius, the officials said. They said the minimum temperature stayed above freezing point in the city for the first time in five days.
