Jammu, Aug 27: Cyber Cell of District Police Jammu solved three separate online cyber crime complaints.
1. A complaint was received regarding financial fraud of Rs.26,000.The complainant was given task on review and ratings on Hotels and Resturant by fraudsters and defrauded an amount of Rs.26000/.
2. One complaint was received regarding financial fraud of Rs.53,403 in which victim was deceived by fraudsters by giving job to him and defrauded an amount of Rs.53,403/.
3. A complaint of financial fraud of Rs.19,071 in which victim phone was hacked after clicked a unknown APK file from fraudsters and defrauded an amount of Rs.18,871.
During the investigation, the Cyber Cell DPO Jammu, acted swiftly and exhibited hectic efforts which ultimately led to put on hold an amount of Rs 1,16,930/- out of 1,40,683/ in these three separate online cyber crime complaints . Further investigation is underway. |
