Jammu, May 30: The Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu, hosted its prestigious Investiture Ceremony to formally bestow leadership responsibilities upon the newly elected Student Council for the academic year 2025–26.
The event aimed to instill a deep sense of duty, commitment, and leadership among the students as they prepare to take on their roles as future torchbearers of the institution.
The event was graced by Assistant Commandant CRPF, Mr. Kulwant Singh, as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Mrigu Sambyal, AIR 2 in UPSC CDS 2024, as the Special Guest. Also present were Chairman Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Director Ms. Rajni Gupta, Principal Ms. Sonika Mahajan, and Headmistress Ms. Shivani Vaid Sharma, who together conferred badges and sashes to the newly elected council members.
Each student leader accepted their responsibilities with pride and pledged to uphold the school motto "Live, Learn, Lead" with unwavering dedication. The Principal, Ms. Sonika Mahajan, led the oath-taking ceremony, guiding the newly appointed student leaders as they committed themselves to serve their school and peers with sincerity, loyalty, and discipline.
Proud expressions on the faces of teachers, staff, and parents reflected the shared joy and confidence in the newly appointed leaders.
Adding to the grandeur of the occasion, a Felicitation Ceremony was also held. The Chief Guest felicitated the top academic achievers of the 2024–25 session in the CBSE examinations, recognizing their hard work and excellence. This gesture not only celebrated academic brilliance but also served to motivate the student body to strive for greater heights.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Kulwant Singh, inspired the students with his words, urging them to seize every opportunity, hone their skills, and become responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to their families, society, and the nation.
Special Guest Ms. Mrigu Sambyal also addressed the gathering, motivating the students to be sincere in their responsibilities and urging them to remain committed not only to their school but also to the nation. Her words of encouragement left a lasting impression on the young minds.
The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the rendition of the National Anthem, marking the end of an inspiring and memorable event.
