BMS three days training workshop program concluded at Jammu

Jammu, June 1: Three days residential state ABAYAS VERG of Bharitya Mazdoor Sangh Jammu Kashmir held at Trikuta Yatri Nivas ambphalla Jammu in which more than 80 union leaders out of which 20 women leaders from different unions across the state participated in the program, the participant came from Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Reasi, Udhampur, Rajouri, Ramban Kishtwar, Anantnag, Baramula and Srinagar attended the program. Shetriye Sangathan Mantri Sh. Pawan Kumar briefed about the Labour Codes and BMS consent and point of view for implementation of Wage Code 2019, and Code on Social Security 2020 and BMS stiff opposition to code on Industrial Relations 2020 and code on occupational safety, health and working conditions 2020 as these codes are not workers friendly on also stressed upon that BMS is focusing for the welfare of GIG workers and other those who are involved in ecommerce activities the, Seh. Sangathan mantri Sh. Sohan Lal Gupta Ji stressed upon the need to how to maintain union accounts, union returns filing etc. Sh. Satya Parkash Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner also participated and briefed in details the benefits of this social security scheme, its implementation, complaints, grievance redressal etc. while addressing the participants Ashok Choudhary stressed upon that discipline and punctuality is the key factor in human growth and in all sphare of life and same principal applies in day to day life and state BMS Team always ready to help workers causes.
It was also informed the delegates that Smt. Neelam Sharma State General Secretary got an opportunity to represent Jammu Kashmir state in ILO Geneva as she has been nominated by BMS for to represent working class in 113th International Labour conference in Geneva Which is going to start from 1st June 2025 and shall culminate on 13 June 2025.
