| Checking staff fulfilled their social duty by returning the bag | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 2: Today, on 2nd June 2025, train number 22439 which runs from New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Katra. Passenger Shri Udit Malhotra, who was travelling in this train, had to travel from New Delhi to Pathankot. After completing the journey and disembarking at his destination station, the passenger forgot his bag in the E/2 coach of the train. Passenger Shri Udit Malhotra remembered while disembarking at the station that his bag was left behind in the train. He immediately informed Commercial Inspector Shri Rajendra Lo at Pathankot station about his bag left behind in the train. The passenger told that while disembarking from the train in a hurry, he had forgotten his bag in the train, which contained some of his important documents. Taking further action, the Commercial Inspector of Pathankot informed the Ticket Inspector of Jammu station, Mr. Abdul Rashid about this. As soon as the train reached Jammu station, the Ticket Inspector of Jammu, Mr. Abdul Rashid recovered the bag of the passenger and after completing the verification process, handed over the bag to the passenger. After getting his lost bag back, the passenger thanked the railways. For this commendable work, Senior Commercial Manager of Jammu division, Mr. Uchit Singhal announced to give a certificate of appreciation to the concerned staff and said that other railway employees will also take inspiration from this and play their role in such commendable works. |
