Miran Sahib, July 21: The Inter School Zone Level Competitions and Selection Trials U/19 (B&G) in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Chess Table Tennis and Cricket for Under-19 Boys commenced today at GBHS Simbal.
The competitions were formally inaugurated at Government Boys High School Simbal, in which different Govt/private school players participated from zone Miran Sahib
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Headmaster Sh kuldeep Raj Sharma, GBHS Simbal camp hosted by Zonal Physical Education Officers Sh Joginder Sharma, Under the Chairmanship of sh Sukhdev Raj Dysso, Jammu The ZPEO MIRAN Sahib welcomed the participants and briefed the gathering about the aims and scale of the event..
During the Opening Ceremony Sh. Joginder Sharma ZPEO highlighted the significance of sports in youth development, stating, "We are thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and talent of our young players.”Participants showcased commendable performances marked by enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and discipline. A dedicated panel of departmental experts, convenors, and technical officials ensured smooth and fair conduct of the matches.
The competitions will continue over the next three days at different venues, for selection best players for participate in the forthcoming District level competitions.
