Poonch, July 21: The Indian Army organized an inspiring and motivational lecture on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day at Government Senior High School, Hayatpura. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 70 students and parents, 6 teachers and 10 Army personnel. The session aimed to enlighten the students about the importance of acquiring practical skills, adaptability and discipline to succeed in today’s dynamic world. Army speakers highlighted the significance of vocational education, life skills, communication, leadership and digital literacy as essential tools for empowerment and self-reliance. The lecture included interactive discussions and real-life examples drawn from the Indian Army’s own experiences, which served to motivate the students towards goal-setting, perseverance and continuous self-improvement. This initiative is part of the unit’s ongoing efforts to promote community outreach and youth empowerment, particularly in rural and border areas. The overwhelmingly positive response from students and staff reflected the meaningful impact of such engagements in broadening perspectives and instilling confidence among the youth.
