Early Times Report RAJOURI, July 21: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation status of the flagship schemes in the district. The review meeting covered a wide range of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and other Government initiatives, including Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, AMRUT 2.0, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, PMAY-Urban 2.0, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban and Grameen), National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM), PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Bharat Net, Lakhpati Didi, POSHAN 2.0, PM Adarsh Gram Yojana, SWAMITVA, PM SHRI Schools, and Computerisation of Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS), in addition to the Jammu-Akhnoor-Poonch National Highway Project. While reviewing the PM SHRI (Schools for Rising India) initiative, the Chief Education Officer presented a school-wise status report. The Deputy Commissioner expressed concern over the low expenditure levels in some institutions and directed the concerned officers to take immediate corrective measures to ensure timely and optimal utilization of allocated funds. He also reviewed the physical progress of ongoing infrastructure and development works under the scheme. Highlighting the district's strides in digital governance, the DC was informed that 100 percent computerisation of PACS has been achieved in Rajouri. Under the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA ID) initiative, the district has attained 67 percent coverage, with the DC instructing concerned departments to intensify efforts to achieve complete saturation within stipulated timelines.
