Heartfelt condolence on the tragic incident in Bhainchh, Poonch 7/21/2025 10:17:04 PM Early Times Report POONCH, July 21: It is with profound sorrow and deep anguish that I express my heartfelt condolences over the tragic incident that occurred in Panchayat Bhainchh, District Poonch, as a result of the continuous heavy rainfall over the past week. A devastating landslide and rockfall struck the premises of Government Primary School Kalsian, causing unimaginable grief to the community. In this heart-wrenching tragedy, several innocent children were caught under the debris. Regrettably, one precious young life was lost on the spot, and three to four other children sustained injuries. This incident has shaken the conscience of every sensitive heart. The untimely and sudden demise of an innocent child is an irreparable loss, one that no words can soothe. I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and stand in full solidarity with them during this hour of grief. I pray that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and makes the child a source of forgiveness and mercy for the parents. May Allah also grant the grieving family patience and strength, and fill their hearts with peace and healing. I also pray for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured children, and for mercy and protection for all the children of our region. The names of the injured children are as follows: Bilal Farooq, S/o Mohd Farooq - 6 years Altaf Adrees, S/o Mohd Adrees - 5 years (Serious condition) Iram Adrees, S/o Mohd Adrees - 5 years Mohd Safeer, S/o Mohd Shabir - 6 years Mohd Ahsan, S/o Ab Razaq, R/o Kalsian Bhainchh I appeal to the concerned authorities to urgently investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragedy and to take strong and preventive safety measures to ensure that such devastating incidents do not occur again, especially in vulnerable and high-risk areas like ours.
