WCWS organises free Medical Camp

Ramkot, Oct 28: We Care Welfare Society (WCWS), a self-funded NGO successfully conducted a free medical camp at Govt. Model Hr. Sec. School at Ram Kot, District Kathua. The camp offered comprehensive health check-ups for eye, orthopedic & general health related issues.
A team of renowned doctors, including Senior Physician Dr.Arvind Sharma from Medanta Medicity Hospital Gurgaon, Ophthalmologist Dr. Sheikh Asif Rasool, Sood Eye Centre (A unit of Agarwal), Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, and ; Orthopaedicians Dr. Tarun Sharma and Dr. Dheeraj Jamwal from Govt. Medical College Jammu, provided expert care to 445 patients. The camp also offered free ECG, BP, Blood Sugar & PFT testing & eye testing with advanced equipments.
*Key Highlights:*
- 225 eye patients were treated out of which 42 screened for cataract surgery.
- 109 orthopedic patients received treatment.
- 111 general health check-ups were conducted.

Prof. M. Sadiq thanked Principal, and all staff members of School for providing all facilities for conducting the camp in school. He also thanked Hon'ble MLA Satish Sharma, Ex-VDC Chairman and all Ex-Sarpanches of the area for their support.
Sudershan Gupta, Vice President (Women), helped in facilitating the examination of a large number of women patients and overseeing the patient registration process.
President Dr. R. K.Gupta thanked the doctors, paramedical staff, Cipla, WCWS members, and our resourse person Rajesh Gupta, for making the camp a geat success. General Secretary, Rajinder Gupta appreciated the team's commitment and dedication.
