Samvardhini Nyas organises CMC programme

Jammu, Oct 28: amvardhini Nyas organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Garbh Sanskar at Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Jammu, aimed at promoting awareness about holistic prenatal care and the profound influence of maternal thoughts, lifestyle, and environment on the physical, mental, and spiritual development of the unborn child.
The event was convened by Dr. Himja Mengi, Convener – Samvardhini Nyas, Jammu Region. Miss Madhuri Marathe, National Organising Secretary, Samvardhini Nyas, graced the occasion along with eminent speakers Dr. Shweta Dangre and Dr. Arun Arora, who enlightened the audience on the scientific and spiritual aspects of Garbh Sanskar. They emphasized the importance of integrating traditional wisdom with modern medical understanding to nurture healthier and value-oriented generations.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from doctors, healthcare professionals, and expectant mothers. Participants appreciated the initiative for reviving and spreading awareness about Bharatiya values and ancient practices associated with motherhood and child development.
In her concluding remarks, Dr. Himja Mengi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the speakers, hospital administration, and all attendees for their active involvement. She stated that Samvardhini Nyas will continue organizing such awareness programs across the region to strengthen family and societal well-being through value-based initiatives. ; and Arushi, Member – Samvardhini Nyas also assist the entire team.
The event was graced by Amar Chand Gupta, Senior Vice President; B.B. Gupta, General Secretary; Mohan Singh Chouhan, Treasurer; and Dr. Sachin Gupta, Member of the Hospital Management Committee, along with Dr. Arvind Kohli, Medical Director; Dr. Rabinder Rattanpal, Medical Superintendent; Dr. Yashpal Karsyal, Assistant Medical Director; and S. Iqbal Deep Singh, Manager.
