PNB, Circle Office, Jammu has organised Walkathon

Jammu, Nov 1: Punjab National Bank, Circle Office, Jammu has organised a Walkathon on 01.11.2025 for observing Vigilance Awareness Week-2025. The walkathon started from Circle Office located at Gupta Towers, Bahu Plaza, Railway Road, Jammu and was led by Shri. Dharmesh Dwivedi, Deputy Circle Head. The walkathon was joined by other staff members from Circle Office and officers from other nearby offices.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Dwivedi threw light on the need of observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week and its importance in the present day scenario. He said that corruption is an evil that has permeated in our society and needs to be eradicated for which each and every citizen has to contribute wholeheartedly.
Shri. Dwivedi also enlightened that PNB is committed to the service of the people and is instrumental in implementing vigilance measures so that corruption is eradicated completely from the society. PNB stands by the initiative of our Prime Minister in weeding out corruption and making India a Corruption free Country. He said the purpose of the VAW is to make the people aware about the evil of corruption that is prevalent in the society and how the citizens can contribute in eradicating the same.
The people have to vow that they will neither be corrupt not allow others to indulge in corruption. The citizens have to take initiative in furtherance of the goal of our Government, which is Corruption Free India.
Punjab National Bank, Circle Office, Jammu also organised various other activities like Blood Donation & Health Check-up Camp at PNB, Branch Office Gandhi Nagar (eOBC), Jammu and also organised a Quiz Completion at Delhi Public School, Udhampur to spread awareness about the Vigilance Awareness Week.
