Jammu, Dec 13: he J&K Ball Badminton Association expresses immense pride in announcing that three players from Jammu and Kashmir have secured their places in the Indian Ball Badminton Team after strong performances at the National Selection Trials organized by the Ball Badminton Federation of India (BBFI). The trials were held on 7 and 8 November 2025 at F Block, Vikaspuri, Directorate of Education, Government of NCT Delhi. The selected players showed skill, discipline, and consistency against top athletes from across India.
Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of Law and Justice, met the athletes at his residence. He praised their performance and noted the determination shown by all the players. His words of encouragement served as strong motivation for the athletes, inspiring them to aim higher and bring pride to the nation in the international arena. His support encouraged the players to aim for higher results in international events.
The J&K Ball Badminton Association acknowledges the support of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council. Their assistance provided training platforms where athletes improved their ability and developed competitive readiness. This support helped the selected players reach national selection level.
