GDC RS Pura organises slogan writing competition to promote road safety awareness

RS PURA, Jan 28: Road Safety Club of Government Degree College R. S. Pura today on 28-01-2026 organized a slogan writing competition to promote "Road Safety campaign" under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, esteemed Principal of the college. This competition is an opportunity to unleash students creativity and craft impactful slogans that promote road safety awareness. More than thirty students participated in the competition. The students write slogans pertaining to Do's and Don'ts with respect to Road Safety Rules. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college impressed upon the teachers and students to wear helmets seat belts not driving under the influence of alcohol and drive within the permissible speed limits. She further emphasized that to avoid chance of collision, a safe distance is to be maintained while driving. The event was organized by Prof. Sanjeev Upadhyay, Convener of Road Safety Club of the college. The organizing committee members viz. Dr. Hari Singh, Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, Prof Rajinder Singh, and Dr. Roopali Slathia were present on the occasion.
