Public welfare works are government’s top priority: Shyam Singh Rana

Chandigarh, Jan 29: Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh.Shyam Singh Rana, said that the state government is running several welfare schemes for the benefit of the people. He said that Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini is serious about the upcoming budget, which will be presented keeping public interest at the forefront. The budget will also include strong and beneficial schemes for farmers. The government has set a target of bringing up to 20 percent area under organic and natural farming.
Sh. Rana was interacting with the media after chairing the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Charkhi Dadri today.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh.Nayab Singh Saini, the government is fully committed to ensuring quick, transparent, and effective redressal of public grievances. He said that the monthly meetings of the Grievance Redressal Committee serve as a strong platform for direct interaction between the government and citizens, where people can present their issues directly before the administration. Resolving public grievances remains the government’s top priority, as the government is working for public welfare and citizen convenience, he added.
During the meeting, a total of 12 complaints were taken up for hearing, out of which 10 were resolved on the spot, while the remaining two were kept pending for the next hearing. Apart from these, problems raised by other citizens present in the meeting were also heard, and necessary directions were issued to the concerned officers.
The Minister clearly directed officers to ensure complete transparency during the investigation of complaints and to keep the complainant involved at every stage so that the resolution is effective and satisfactory.
