J&K police in Jammu district organizes farewell function for retiring officers/officials

JAMMU, Jan 31: Jammu & Kashmir Police in Jammu District today on 31.01.2026 organised a farewell function to accord a warm send-off to officers who superannuated from their active services in Jammu. 08 officers/officials of Jammu Police attained supranation today. These officers/officials, who attained supranation today have rendered services of 27 to 38 years.
On attaining the age of superannuation,retirees were given a warm send-off by all ranks of Jammu Police. On their retirement, a simple but impressive farewell party was organized at DPL Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, SP headquarters Jammu Irshad H. Rather-JKPS appreciated the work and dedication of the retiree officers towards their duties. He extended good wishes and healthy post-retirement life to them. He also presented gifts to retirees as a token of love and respect for their exceptional services spanning over more than three decades.
DySP DAR Jammu Tahir Amin-JKPS and other police officers/officials were also present on the occasion. They also acknowledged the contribution of the outgoing officers/officials and conveyed their best wishes to them for post-retirement life.
