SRINAGAR, Mar 16: Minister for FCS&CA, IT, Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Science and Technology, Satish Sharma, today extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.
In his message, the Minister said that Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, holds immense spiritual significance for Muslims across the world. He observed that on this sacred night, Almighty Allah revealed the Holy Qur'an to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the guidance of mankind, making it a night of profound blessings, prayers and reflection.
Satish Sharma said that the holy occasion provides an opportunity for the believers to seek Almighty Allah's mercy and forgiveness while reaffirming their commitment to the values of compassion, unity and service to humanity.
The Minister also urged people to remember the less privileged sections of society and extend support and assistance to those in need, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized that helping the poor and promoting social harmony reflects the true spirit and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Praying for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people, Satish Sharma expressed hope that the sacred occasion would further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, harmony and communal unity across Jammu and Kashmir.
