JAMMU, Mar 17: Arohi Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya in collaboration with NATRANG. successfully organized a soulful musical evening titled "Shaam-e-Ghazal" at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from music lovers and dignitaries, making it a memorable cultural gathering. The program was graced by Chief Guest, Yudhvir Sethi (MLA, Jammu East) and Guest of Honour, Smt. Devyani Rana (MLA, Nagrota). Among the distinguished Special Guests present on the occasion were Padma Shri Balwant Thakur, Shri Rajesh Rathore (Principal, JK Public School), Jenab Sohail Kazmi (Senior Journalist), Dr. Swati Kapoor (Principal, Shaurya International School), Dr. Manjari Sehgal (Principal, Stephens International School), Shri Tarun Uppal (MD, Nirbhay Bharat Foundation), Rohini Aima (Principal-cum-Chairperson, Jammu Sanskriti School), and Inspector Vikramjeet Singh (CID Headquarters J&K). The evening was gracefully conducted by RJ Ajay Khanna, who kept the audience engaged throughout the program. The highlight of the event was the mesmerizing performance by renowned artist Ustad Jitender Singh Jamwal, who presented a series of soulful ghazals. His renditions of "Mehfil Mein Baar Baar Unpar Nazar Gayi," "Chand Raatein Na Yeh Rang Chahiye," and "Ranjish Hi Sahi" captivated the audience and revived the charm of classical ghazal mehfils. Concluding his performance on a high note, he presented a lively Dogri song that brought the audience to their feet, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
