Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 30: Apni Party’s District President Jammu Urban, Abhay Bakaya, today visited Ward 71, Asarabad, Sidhra, to interact with local residents and address their pressing concerns.
During the visit, the residents apprised him of the acute lack of basic amenities in the area. They also expressed serious apprehensions regarding the upcoming rainy season, recalling the devastation caused by heavy rains last year. The locals reiterated their long-pending demands for the construction of a protection wall and installation of crates to prevent further damage and ensure safety.
Taking immediate cognizance of the issues, Abhay Bakaya contacted the concerned Executive Engineer (XEN), who assured that the work on the protection measures will commence soon. Speaking on the occasion, Bakaya reaffirmed Apni Party’s commitment to the welfare of the people and said that the party will continue to stand firmly with the residents of Jammu and Kashmir. He assured that every possible step, within the ambit of law, will be taken to raise and resolve the genuine demands of the public. He further emphasized the need for timely action by the authorities to prevent any untoward incidents during the forthcoming rainy season.
