PTTI Vijaypur inaugurates BRTC

VIJAYPUR, Apr 30: The Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI), Vijaypur today formally inaugurated the Basic Recruitment Training Course (BRTC) for fresh recruits. A total of 495 male and female recruits, including 434 from Telecommunication and 61 from SDRF, drawn from various districts of Jammu & Kashmir, have commenced their training at the Institute. The inaugural ceremony was held with due solemnity and enthusiasm at the Institute premises and was presided over by Shri Ranjit Singh Sambyal, IPS, Principal, PTTI Vijaypur. Addressing the trainees, the Principal highlighted the core objectives of the BRTC, emphasizing the importance of discipline, professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of duty in alignment with the values and responsibilities of the Police force. He underscored the significance of physical fitness, technical proficiency, drill, weapon handling, and other structured indoor and outdoor training modules that form an integral part of the course curriculum. He further informed that special lectures by subject experts and live demonstrations would be organized periodically to enhance practical knowledge and operational efficiency of the trainees. The Principal urged the recruits to actively engage in all aspects of training, maintain strict discipline, punctuality, and proper turnout, and strive for excellence throughout the training period. Among others, Khushwant Singh, DySP (Outdoor/Admn) and Shri Asif Iqbal, SrPO, PTTI Vijaypur were present on the occasion.
