VIJAYPUR, Apr 30: As part of the ongoing three-month awareness program under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan initiated by the Higher Education Department, Government Degree College Vijaypur organizeda vibrant and impactful wall painting drive within the college campus under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) in collaboration with Cultural Committee. The initiative aimed to spread awareness among students and the community about the harmful effects of substance abuse and to promote a drug-free society.
The program was conducted under the guidance of the esteemed Principal, Dr. Ashu Vashisht, who appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and faculty members. She emphasized the importance of such creative activities in sensitizing youth towards social issues and encouraging them to become responsible citizens.
Dr. Anoop Kumar Bhagat, Convenor of NMBA, played a pivotal role in organizing the event. He highlighted that art serves as a powerful medium to communicate strong messages and inspire behavioural change, especially among the younger generation.
The activity was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Ritu Bhagat (Convenor, Cultural Committee) who guided students in expressing their thoughts through meaningful and visually engaging paintings.
