Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 30: In a continued effort to ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the grassroots level, prominent social activist and Chairman of the Samvedna Society, Keshav Chopra, organized a special distribution program in Jammu. During the event, essential documents including Ration Cards, Ayushman Bharat Health Cards, and ABHA Cards were handed over to local residents to facilitate easier access to healthcare and food security.
The initiative was part of the society's ongoing mission to bridge the gap between administrative departments and the general public, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries do not face hurdles in obtaining vital government services. By bringing these services directly to the people, the Samvedna Society aims to empower the underprivileged and promote a digitally integrated healthcare ecosystem through the distribution of ABHA IDs and health insurance cards.
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Chopra stated that the primary objective of the Samvedna Society is to serve as a helping hand for the common man and to ensure that no citizen is left behind due to a lack of awareness or documentation. He noted that the distribution of these cards is a step toward making the lives of locals easier by providing them with the necessary tools to avail themselves of free medical treatment and essential commodities. He further expressed his gratitude to the concerned government departments for their coordination and efficiency in processing these documents, emphasizing that such collaborative efforts are crucial for the overall development and welfare of society.
The local residents expressed their appreciation for the proactive role played by the Samvedna Society in addressing their concerns and delivering essential services at their doorstep. Several prominent citizens and members of the society were also present during the program to support the initiative.
