RHS observes Budh Purnima and Labour Day with Gratitude and Reflection

JAMMU, May 1: RHS marked the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima alongside Labour Day with a meaningful and inspiring combined celebration, fostering values of compassion, dignity of labour and collective responsibility among students.
A special morning assembly was conducted to highlight the teachings of Lord Buddha, emphasizing peace, mindfulness and kindness. Students presented thought-provoking speeches and performances reflecting the essence of Buddha's message in today's world. The significance of Labour Day was also shared, sensitizing students to respect and appreciate the invaluable contributions of workers in society.
A heartfelt segment of the assembly was dedicated to honouring the school's support staff. The Management, Principal, staff and students expressed their deep gratitude for their unwavering dedication and service. The staff members were felicitated with tokens of appreciation amid warm applause, making the occasion truly special.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms Anita Bhatia, Head of Institute, remarked,
"Such celebrations instill in our students the values of empathy, humility and respect for every individual's contribution. It is essential to nurture not only academic excellence but also a compassionate outlook towards society."
Director, Mrs Ruchi Charak, added,
