Early Times Report AMBALA, May 2: The Annual Training Camp-122, organized by 2 Haryana Battalion NCC, Ambala Cantt. is being conducted with great enthusiasm at Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana. The formal opening ceremony was held on 28 April 2026 at the University Sports Complex. Camp Commandant Col. Sameet Nawani delivered the opening address, motivating cadets to uphold discipline, dedication and the core values of the NCC. His address set an inspiring tone for the camp and encouraged participants to actively engage in all training activities. The ceremony was graced by Deputy Camp Commandant Col. Dalmeet Singh, along with 6 ANOs/CTOs from various institutes, 20 PI Staff members from 2 HR BN NCC Ambala Cantt. and approximately 550 NCC cadets, reflecting the scale and importance of the camp. From the university side, Dr. Subhash Malik of the Mechanical Engineering Department, MMDU Mullana, is serving as the Camp Coordinator, ensuring smooth execution and effective coordination of all camp arrangements. The camp aims to provide structured training, enhance leadership qualities, and instill a spirit of unity and national service among cadets through drills, physical training, and interactive sessions over the ten-day period. |
