JAMMU, May 2: Renowned Master Artist K.K. Gandhi Invited as Resource Person at National Art Workshop "Kala Utsav" minent contemporary artist K.K. Gandhi has been invited as a Resource Person for the prestigious national art workshop "Kala Utsav", organized by the Department of Fine Arts at Kurukshetra University. The five-day workshop is scheduled to be held from 3rd May to 7th May 2026 at the Kurukshetra University campus and will center around the theme "Women Empowerment using art as a medium to foster dialogue on socially relevant narratives and contemporary thought. Widely regarded as one of India's leading master artists, K.K. Gandhi has built a distinguished career marked by a unique visual language and deeply evocative works. His artistic journey reflects a profound engagement with cultural identity, human emotion, and the evolving dynamics of society. Over the years, his work has not only earned critical acclaim but has also inspired a generation of emerging artists across the country. At Kala Utsav, Gandhi will engage closely with students and participants through interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and experiential learning, offering valuable insights into both the technical and philosophical dimensions of fine art.
