Dharampur, May 2: Pinegrove School, Dharampur, celebrated Labour Day on Saturday 1st May 2026 with a beautiful assembly by Class XII dedicated to its Support Staff, featuring a stirring song and a light-hearted play celebrating their unwavering dedication and service.
This was followed by a vibrant group dance performance that culminated in a joyous Nati dance. The Executive Director, Capt AJ Singh, joined by the Assistant Directors, Ms. Shriya Dua and Ms. Anjna Singh, acknowledged the crucial role of the support staff in the smooth functioning of the school and expressed his deep gratitude for their contribution to the safety and security of students, strongly emphasising a respect for labour and the dignity of hard work. He also announced a special trip for the Pinegrove Support Staff that would include a flight to Goa, a memorable boat experience at sea and a return journey by train. Mrs. Omvati was honoured on her retirement with Rs 5 lakh for achieving an ‘A’ grading in recognition of her years of sincere service at Pinegrove. The celebration concluded with a special high tea and tokens of appreciation for every member of the support staff, marking gratitude for their constant care and contribution.
