IIM Jammu concludes three-day administrative excellence programme

JAMMU, Aug 1: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu concluded the Three-Day Administrative Excellence Programme, an Executive Education initiative aimed at enhancing administrative competencies, promoting digital transformation, and fostering excellence in institutional governance. The programme brought together 40 administrative professionals, who actively participated in a series of interactive sessions designed to strengthen their managerial and administrative capabilities.
The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean, Faculty & Research, IIM Jammu. The ceremony was graced by Prof. Prashant Mishra, Chairperson, Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), and the Programme Directors, Shri Arup Bhattacharya and Shri Pardeep Saini, IIM Jammu.
In his valedictory address, Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean, Faculty & Research, IIM Jammu, emphasized that the programme was designed not merely to impart knowledge but to cultivate new perspectives, strategic thinking, and an out-of-the-box approach to problem-solving. He highlighted the importance of peer learning and knowledge sharing, noting that meaningful learning emerges through collaborative engagement and practical application. Congratulating the Programme Directors for successfully designing and delivering the programme, he urged participants to translate the knowledge gained into improved administrative and managerial practices, thereby bridging academic excellence with organizational excellence.
Presenting the programme summary, Shri Arup Bhattacharya, Programme Director, highlighted the key learnings and outcomes of the five-day programme. He described the interaction with Prof. B. S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, who shared insights from his 22-year leadership journey, as one of the programme's major highlights. Expressing gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic involvement, he hoped that the programme had fulfilled their learning expectations.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Prashant Mishra, Chairperson, Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu, encouraged participants to serve as brand ambassadors of the programme by applying and sharing their learnings within their organizations. Emphasizing that knowledge creates value only when practiced and disseminated, he urged them to stay connected with the Institute and continue contributing feedback for further strengthening future programmes.
During the reflection session, participants appreciated the programme's practical orientation, insightful faculty sessions, and well-coordinated delivery. They shared that the programme introduced them to new management tools and perspectives, while providing valuable learning that could be effectively applied in their respective organizations. They also expressed their gratitude to IIM Jammu and the organizing team for the enriching learning experience.
The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates to all 40 participants in recognition of their successful completion of the programme. The vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Pardeep Saini, Programme Director, who expressed sincere gratitude to IIM Jammu leadership for their visionary leadership, encouragement, and continuous support. He also thanked the faculty members, resource persons, organizing team, and participants for their wholehearted cooperation and enthusiastic involvement, which contributed to the successful execution of the programme
