LUCKNOW, Sept 10: State Government and state organizations will jointly celebrate the completion of PM Narendra Modi's 25 years of continuous service. In Uttar Pradesh, 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will run from September 17 to October 17. Through the campaign, welfare-oriented achievements, policy reforms and changes brought about in the country and state during PM's 25 years of service will be taken to every section of society, while every citizen will be connected with the national resolve of 'Viksit Bharat 2047'.
On Thursday, CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed campaign preparations in the presence of BJP State President and Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary and State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal. He said the campaign should be conducted with extensive public participation and that achievements in service, good governance, welfare of the poor, and development should be brought before the people through the stories of actual beneficiaries. Every section of society, including youth, women, farmers and deprived sections, should be made a participant in the resolve of Viksit Bharat. CM instructed all in-charge ministers to visit the districts and their respective assembly constituencies to review the preparations.
The meeting noted that a three-tier coordination system has been established at the government, CM's Office, and district levels. A data bank of development works undertaken by Central Government over 12 years and State Government over 10 years has been prepared. Campaign will connect 4.19 crore families and 15.74 crore beneficiaries, including 3.51 crore rural and 0.68 crore urban families.
Under 'Seva Diwas: Aashirwad Ka Diya' on September 17, lamps will be lit at 7 pm along with service activities. Lamps will also be lit at beneficiary families' homes and sites of major development projects. The in-charge minister for program will be Dharmveer Prajapati. On the same day, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, Vishwakarma Puja will be organized in all assembly constituencies and toolkits will be distributed to artisans.
'Mere Sapnon Ka Bharat: Chitra Seva' will continue from September 17 to October 7. Under this, painting and speech competitions will be organized in schools, while speech and debate competitions will be held in higher educational institutions. Certificates and awards will be given to outstanding talents. In-charge Minister Sandeep Singh was instructed to ensure maximum participation.
Under 'Namo Seva: Ankahi Kahaniyan', cultural street plays will take the story of 25 years of service, welfare schemes, and development to villages and cities. Culture Department will form teams of artists in each district. In-charge Minister Jaiveer Singh was instructed to ensure quality performances and honor local talent.
